4) Wait for the necessary time
Depending on the amount of ice to be removed and the size of the freezer, defrosting may take at least 2 hours. Once all traces of ice have been removed, dry the inside of the freezer, including the door. If dirty, clean it with a sponge soaked in warm water and a dry cloth. At this point, restart the freezer, following the instructions carefully before storing food in it.
