9) Not cleaning your computer
The computer can be a real dust catcher. Both keyboard and mouse are left unprotected on your desk. So you should dust them frequently, which will also prevent any malfunction. In addition, if the computer is not used frequently, it may be useful to store the mouse and keyboard in a drawer, or cover them with a cloth.
