2) Catambra
This plant produces an odor that is almost imperceptible to humans but annoying to mosquitoes because it contains a substance called catalpol emanating from the leaves. It does not need much care, growing luxuriantly. It can be planted in pots or in the ground, and does not need special sun exposure. To increase its repellent power in the home, place a catambra in every room, and in the garden every ten feet.
