3) Hand washing delicate white garments
Before hand bleaching delicate white fabrics, first wash them with a mild soap, such as liquid Marseille soap or a do-it-yourself detergent. Thus you’ll remove superficial dirt, and make the bleaching process more effective. So dilute 150 ml (5 oz) of bleach in 5 liters of water at the maximum temperature that those fabrics can withstand, according to the instructions on the label. Let them soak for about 20 minutes and then wash them with some detergent.
