9) The importance of humidity
Most of the orchids in our homes are of tropical origin, therefore they are suited to the hot and humid climate of the tropics. It is therefore advisable to make sure that our orchids are exposed to a high ambient humidity: it is therefore advisable to spray the leaves of the orchids often using demineralized water. During periods of summer heat, there is often little humidity in an apartment; you can solve this problem by placing a humidifier near your orchids.
