10) Pay attention to the color of the leaves
You should check the leaves of your orchid often: if they become yellow or covered with speckles, the plant is exposed to too much direct sunlight. If, on the other hand, they turn a color that tends too dark green, the light to which the orchid is exposed should be increased, because it is insufficient.
