4) Implement a heat shock
A sudden change in temperature, contrary to common belief, is not harmful to orchids. As a matter of fact, it will make them flourish again, encouraging the birth of new buds. In the early days of autumn, when the outside reaches a temperature of 15 degrees, move the orchids to the balcony throughout the day. Then, bring them back indoors in the evening. Repeat this action for about 2 weeks.
