5) Doorstop
A really simple idea is transforming the sleeves of your old sweater in nice doorstops. Fill a fabric bag with rice or sand and tuck it into one of the sleeves. At this point, cut the sleeve, and close it by needle and thread. Finally, decorate your new doorstop with buttons, ribbons or whatever you like to make it more original!
