Cooking this organic product is quite a commitment: first of all, if they are picked in the woods, it is necessary to have them checked by an expert, in order to be sure that they are edible. Then, you have to clean them from residues of dirt, worms and snails; finally, you can cook them! Whether fried, pan-fried, mixed with pasta or rice, mushrooms are delicious. Even though they can be stored easily, you should always eat them freshly cooked. This way they’ll retain all their properties, which can cause bloating and stomach upset, if altered at high temperatures.
