20) High salt content
There are different reasons to avoid foods that contain tons of salt, according to Vittoria Mamax, health
director of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and oncologist. Excessive salt leads to high blood pressure, and to a major risk of developing tumors. These include stomach, throat and pancreatic cancer. In addition, a high intake of salty foods causes also other health problems, such as cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis and obesity.
